The developer behind the upcoming remake of Dead Space, Motive Studios, announced on Twitter that a live stream offering “early looks at development and what goes into the remake of a game" will be dropping later this week. Fans of the franchise can tune in on March 11, 2022 for all the details.
Motive Studios released a brief teaser along with the announcement about the preview stream. This can be viewed on YouTube. The teaser features a Slasher along with the player character, Isaac Clarke. The famous and equally familiar sound effects can be heard in the background.

EA revealed in July, 2021 that a Dead Space remake was in the works. The game is believed to be the first entry in a series of remakes from this long-running franchise. EA however has released very little information about the game since the announcement of its existence last year. There is currently no release date set for the game.
Motive Studios previously said that its remake of Dead Space would “reinvigorate” the franchise and feature "improvements to gameplay while staying true to the original.” Senior Producer Phillippe Ducharme called the remake “a love letter to the franchise.” The developer went on to say that “going back to the original and having the opportunity to do so on next generation consoles excited everyone on the team. As we look to modernize the game, we've reached out to dedicated fans and invited them to provide us with feedback since the early stages of production to deliver the Dead Space game they want and for new players to enjoy as well."
