The official Twilight and The Hunger GamesTwitter accounts have pulled an April Fool's Day prank by superimposing Twilightactors on a Hunger Games-style poster and vice versa. The Twilight Sagahas five movies which tell the story of a love triangle between a human girl, Bella, and her romances with vampire Edward Cullen and werewolf Jacob Black. The Hunger Gamesfranchise consists of four movies which all focus on Katniss Everdeen, a teenage girl fighting for survival in the fictional post-apocalyptic world of Panem. Although it’s not the main focus of the films, there’s also a love triangle in The Hunger Gamesbetween Katniss and her two friends, Peeta and Gale.
While both of these franchises have been around for over ten years, their impact remains. A decade after its first release, a new movie called The Battle of Songbirds and Snakesis coming to The Hunger Gamesfranchise. And Twilightis going through a resurgence of popularity — while the movies were often ridiculed during their time (likely because of their association with a teenage girl fanbase), many people are now revisiting them with a new, more open-minded perspective. Now, with the success of Robert Pattinson in The Batmanas well as Kristen Stewart’s uncanny performance as Princess Diana in Spencer, the Twilight actors are getting recognized for their acting chops.

In honor of April Fool's Day, the social media teams for Twilightand The Hunger Gameshave created some hilarious posters and switched their usernames. The Hunger Gamesaccount tweets a fake poster featuring Bella with red eyes and Edward and Jacob below her, all of them surrounded by flames, with the words “The Hunger Games: Breaking Dawn Part
