A recent tweet from the verified Dead Space Twitter account confirms that the Dead Space remake is aiming for a 2023 release window. The announcement comes with a short video showcasing the words «Dead Space: Available Early 2023» as well as a spaceship floating in front of a vast planet. The video is dominated by the dark shape of the planet while the spaceship is shown to be both terribly small and completely motionless. Most of the tension comes from this contrast as well as the flickering red light coming from the ship.
