Dead By Daylight Developer Says "Never Say Never" To Five Nights At Freddy's Crossover
After years of speculation from players about whether Five Nights at Freddy's could ever come to Dead by Daylight, a developer has Freddy Fazbear fans given some hope during a Reddit AMA.
As great as the original Dead by Daylight killers are (The Legion gang rise up), fans of the game are almost always wondering what licensed killer could be coming to the game next, with some of the most popular suggestions including Pennywise from IT, Candyman from, well, Candyman, and Jason Vorhees from Friday the 13th. There's one common request that's a bit more controversial, however - Freddy Fazbear from Five Nights at Freddy's.

Despite being from one of the most popular horror games of all time, Dead by Daylight fans have always seemed a little split as to whether Five Nights would fit into the DBD universe and if it's even a possibility in the first place considering how few crossovers the series has taken part in. Still, even if some players are split, there are a lot of requests for the killer animatronics, something that's only going to increase with the movie coming out next month.
It seems that Dead by Daylight players aren't the only ones interested in seeing the Five Nights at Freddy's gang join the game, however. As highlighted by Redditor ninjabsbx on the Dead by Daylight subreddit, the DBD development team at Behaviour Interactive recently took part in a Reddit AMA, where they answered a variety of questions from fans of the game.
One such question comes from Redditor NasserMX, who asked, "Will Five Nights at Freddy’s ever be in Dead by Daylight in the near future?", which received a "Never say never!" response from Dave Richard, Dead by Daylight's senior
