Was I drawn to this game purely because of the main character? Perhaps. It’s no surprise that I’m a sucker for anime girls, but gothic ones? Sign me up.

I’m not saying Miss Perfect Miss Ending is a groundbreaking mobile game, but it’s great to play when killing some time or indulging in your darker side. Despite her name, Miss Perfect is far from perfect, if not a little scary.
Still, it’s an interesting take on the interactive visual novel genre, and with many anime-style games following the same route these days, it’s nice to see something new. It’s more or less a click-and-point mystery game, which certainly adds a little pizzazz as you search for clues.
Miss Perfect Miss Ending is strangely unsettling at times, but it doesn’t stray away from making a joke here and there. Thriller elements combined with horror make for a nice pastime, but will you be able to find the hidden bonus objects in each level?
To me, it’s like Danganronpa meets the point-and-click detective games from the past – and that’s not a bad thing. As an avid fan of the Danganronpa game series, I’m always excited to try out a game that is reminiscent of the iconic mystery franchise.
Is it on the same level of quality? Definitely not, but there’s no harm in trying something out for the sake of it!
