Supercell, the Tencent-owned Finnish game studio known for mobile hits like Clash of Clans and Clash Royale, announced the Open Beta launch for their new monster hunting game mo.co.
As shown by the trailer below, mo.co features top-down view and a heavy cooperative focus. Here's the in-universe official description shared by Supercell:
The monster-hunting startup is recruiting adventurers to help with a big little mess… involving monsters. The job’s mildly dangerous but offers great benefits, such as fresh gear to look good while hunting, zero commute to instant action, and monster-hunting career opportunities.
A few things to expect on the job:
Hunting monsters across beautiful parallel worlds
Getting epic loot from deadly bosses
Testing state-of-the-art gear
Engaging open world hunting and dungeon raids
Supercell revealed that this first mo.co Open Beta runs until November 6. Additionally, it is only available for US-based gamers who use Android devices (running Android 10 or higher). However, future testing phases will undoubtedly open up to other regions and iOS.
Additionally, there's a solid chance that mo.co will make it to PC. Just a few days ago, Supercell brought its most successful games, Clash of Clans and Clash Royale, to PC via the Google Play Games beta. On PC, these two games support mouse controls, optimized graphics, and high-end performance capabilities.
Stuart McGaw, General Manager of Clash of Clans at Supercell, said in a statement:
We want to put our players first in everything we do, and our players have been asking for a way to play on PC. We hope to see many of them use this new way to play Clash and enjoy it even more!
