Wizards of the Coast has announced that the next Dungeons & Dragons adventure anthology will be Journeys Through the Radiant Citadel, which will contain standalone adventures that are tied to a central location, like the Candlekeep Mysteries D&D anthology from 2021.
There are lots of DMs who like to create their own homebrew D&D campaign worlds, with their own specially crafted adventures. These take a lot of time to develop, so some DMs choose to use the official D&D campaigns created by Wizards of the Coast, such as Curse of Strahd or The Wild Beyond the Witchlight. There are also adventure anthologies that contain short, standalone adventures. These are great for introductory sessions for groups, for instances where the DM doesn't have lots of time to prep, or for running games at conventions.

The next D&D adventure anthology will be Journeys Through the Radiant Citadel, which is set to launch on June 21, 2022. The book contains thirteen standalone adventures that are connected to a location called the Radiant Citadel, which is a magical city in the Ethereal Plane that protects the D&D Material Plane from the Inner Planes. If the adventures are run as a single campaign, they will take players from levels 1-14, as the first adventure will take them to level 3.
Journeys Through the Radiant Citadel is co-led by Ajit George (writer on Van Richten’s Guide to Ravenloft) and F. Wesley Schneider (Senior Game Designer on the D&D Team at Wizards).
