New findings reveal the $113,000 lawsuit Luis' company was slapped with in September 2021 for allegedly failing to pay $113,404.40, the U.S. Sun reports, and now the company Luis was involved with has filed for bankruptcy. C.H. Robinson Worldwide, Inc. filed the suit against Produce Depot, Luis and a business partner over claims of not being paid for the “fresh fruit and vegetables” the vendor sold to Luis’ company on October 20, 2020, and November 13, 2020, in the amount of “$113,404.40.” The suit accuses Produce Depot of failing "to pay for the commodities it ordered, received and accepted from Plaintiff, despite due demand.” Now the vendor is after Luis and his team for the owed funds.
