Luis Ruelas, the fiancé of Teresa Giudice from The Real Housewives of New Jersey, is in some legal hot water as his company has been sued for alleged illegal practices. Teresa and Luis began a relationship in late 2020 after they met while out in New Jersey. The couple immediately hit it off, and Teresa was smitten. While the couple has been together since the summer of 2020, rumors of their relationship began in November 2020.
Teresa and Luis confirmed their relationship in December 2020, when the reality star shared a photo of the couple on Instagram snuggled up together while out to dinner. Since then, Teresa and Luis have been inseparable. After dating for a little over a year, Teresa and Luis got engaged while vacationing in Greece together alongside former RHONJ star Dina Manzo and her husband, Dave Cantin. Even though Teresa is in her "love bubble" with Luis, she may need to remove those rose-colored glasses and finally face who he really is.

In complaint files obtained by Page Six, throughout 2021, Luis' digital advertising company was accused of violating the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) at least three times. In January 2021, a man by the name of Graham Hooper from Florida alleged that businessman Luis' advertising company, Digital Media Solutions, engaged in "unsolicited text messaging with no regard for consumers’ privacy rights." While the case has since been dismissed, this doesn't look good for Luis. In the lawsuit, the texts were allegedly sent in June 2020 and offered services such as "free months of insurance" and car deals.
