Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Project Red announced that the game’s Phantom Liberty expansion has sold five million copies in a post shared to X yesterday.
The five million copy mark was reached before the end of 2023, following the three million in sales the expansion achieved in its first week of release back in September. Sales of Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty saw a resurgence last December adding over 700K copies sold to its lifetime sales tally. The base game reached a 25 million lifetime sales milestone back in October.

These efforts culminated with release of update 2.0, CP2077’s largest and most substantial update yet.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is available now on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC platforms.
