After defeating Unknown Alpha and Unknown Beta, Crystar is finally ready to reveal the true boss of the Chapter - Therion. It’s not unfair to say that the last few bosses have been somewhat gimmicky and a bit too easy. Therion is here to rectify that.

Therion is the combined power of Unknown Alpha and Beta, and he means business. He is huge, has a bunch of attacks, grows more powerful as the fight goes on, and, as always, has a monstrously large health pool. Thankfully you have full access to your team this time around, so you can match this rampaging demon dog blow for blow.
Up until this point, bosses have had between one and three attacks…usually preferring the former to the latter. Therion is not like other bosses and comes with around FIVE attacks. These attacks often play off the same concepts and ideas, and some of them replace others based on his remaining HP, but Therion is the real deal.
Therion doesn’t wait around to attack either. Therion has a dash attack that can catch you off guard if you aren’t paying attention. On top of this, Therion can deal large amounts of AOE damage if you stay too close to him.
If you are too far away from Therion, he will instead launch three chains that will embed themselves into the ground and cause damage and inflict Slow. As his health depletes, he will start to summon chains from the sky that are difficult to dodge, and will also inflict Slow. His final attack is a projectile grid that you have to carefully navigate, or you will take damage.
