Crystar is starting to drop the big narrative reveals as it approaches its final hours. Kuon - Rei’s newly found sister - is next on the chopping block. Whilst not necessarily an evil entity who needs putting down, she is standing in your way.

This is the first and last time these two will meet, so hold nothing back because you want to be the one on the living end of that deal. Thankfully, pulling that off shouldn’t be too difficult since Kuon ends up being another humanoid encounter, and therefore, struggles to put up a fight. The usual party tricks are in play here too.
Kuon doesn’t have many attacks, and the ones she does have, shouldn’t pose much of a threat. Her main form of attack is to run up to Rei and smack her with her sword. This won’t do much damage, and it won’t even interrupt your skills if it lands. Conversely, most things will interrupt Kuon, so it’s unlikely you’ll see her land a hit.
Kuon’s only other attack is Feather Edge, which is a ranged projectile that homes in on Rei. This is identical to Rei’s skill and is just as threatening. In other words, it isn’t. Kuon will mostly use this skill when you aren’t in her face, but she will throw it point-blank from time to time. The damage isn’t great here, so even if it hits, you can just tank it.
Throughout the fight, there will be cutscenes cropping up around the 75 percent, and 50 percent damage marks. These will reveal some plot-related goodies, but they don’t initialize a new phase. Kuon’s attacks stay the same throughout, and they aren’t that great.
Seemingly at random, Kuon will gain Hyper Armour on her attacks, and this will prevent you from interrupting her. This doesn't, however, give her the ability to interrupt
