We are rapidly approaching the end of Crystar. Anamnesis is down, and there are only a couple of bosses between Rei, and total victory. Unfortunately, the last two bosses ramp up that difficulty dial again. Enter, Parmenides.

Parmenides is what happens when you combine the messed up mind of a soul that’s been trapped in Purgatory a bit too long, and a school bus. She’s fast, loves to get in your face, and she hits like a, well, bus. You are going to need to be quick to dodge, and stocked up on healing if you are going to walk away from this alive.
Parmenides doesn’t have many attacks, but the attacks it does have hit hard, and only get stronger as time goes on. Firstly, being a sentient demon school bus, Parmenides has a brutal charge attack. She will hurl herself across the area to smash into you, and if it lands, it will deal a chunk of damage. Thankfully, it has an obvious tell, so dodging it isn’t too difficult.
On top of that, Parmenides can launch ground-based projectiles in a fan pattern. These start large and only get larger as her HP drops. Not only that, Parmenides will use this skill multiple times in quick succession to try and trap you in a web of damage. More than any other attack in the game so far, this one requires careful movement to avoid when she gets trigger-happy.
The final trick up Parmenides’ sleeve is her ability to summon minions. She will summon Aporia and Exusia to mess with you, and these need to be taken out ASAP. They are no stronger than their in-level selves, but they can still interrupt your attacks or lock you into unavoidable damage if you get stun-locked as a big attack comes your way.
