Farming simulator Stardew Valley has been praised for its smooth gameplay and gorgeous visuals featuring a classic pixel art-inspired style. However, the game, which was developed almost entirely by creator Eric «ConcernedApe» Barone working alone, is not without its glitches. Occasionally, Stardew Valley players may encounter strange occurrences that can't be explained away by the interference of the playful Junimo forest spirits or the valley's local Wizard.
Several of these glitches have been fortunate for the players, such as one that allows access to the Secret Woods before purchasing the necessary axe upgrade or one that causes the generation of infinite treasure within the Skull Cavern dungeon. Others simply cause non-player characters or farm animals to behave in bizarre manners, such as walking into walls or referring to the player by their horse's name instead of their own.

The latest glitch was shared on the Stardew Valley subreddit by a player using the name u/zwdish00. After having married the character Abigail and successfully having her move into their character's farmhouse, u/zwdish00 noticed that, rather than walking around the house normally, Abigail instead seemed to become stuck inside the walls. The result showed Abigail moving around in a black void while the player observed her from a corner of the house. Responses to the post on Reddit were quick to mention the fan theory that Abigail might secretly possess magical powers as the possible secret daughter of the Wizard, joking that she was using these Wizard-inherited powers to walk through walls and keep an eye on the player at all times.
This is far from the only glitch
