Stardew Valley Player Makes Their Home a Cafe For Harvey
Reddit user krryan18 posted an image on the Stardew Valley subreddit that showed off a screenshot of the text from a conversation with the villager Harvey where he mentions the name of their farm. Krryan18 had originally intended to name their farm «Milk+Honey» but the game instead converted the "+" symbol into an emoji of a face with sunglasses.
Stardew Valley is known to have a few secrets, and this is no different. According to the comments on this post, some characters in the text of a farm's name are known to become symbols, or an emoji is placed in the right combination. For example, using the "<" symbol can produce a heart, and so on.
Dedicated fans of Stardew Valley are no strangers to weird things, such as animals having strange behavior, so this could make the game even more interesting for players. There aren’t many games out there that have the option for players to have little symbols or faces present in the important text.
