How do you like the idea of solving puzzles along with escaping a circus? Cotton Game is porting their PC game, Woolly Boy and the Circus, to mobile. The game drops on November 26th, 2024, globally. You can grab it for $4.99, a one-time purchase.
Woolly Boy, the protagonist, is a little boy who has somehow ended up in the Big Pineapple Circus. This circus doesn’t have cheerful clowns and candy. Instead, it’s full of puzzles and mystery.
Woolly is one determined boy who just wants out. He’s a smart cookie, no doubt but escaping the circus isn’t that easy. Luckily, he has Qiuqiu, a yellow dog, who’s there to help sniff out clues and figure out puzzles. It helps them escape the strange, larger-than-life place quickly.
The game’s setup is both bizarre and intriguing. Along the journey, Woolly Boy and Qiuqiu come across all sorts of items and mini-games. From mysterious props to puzzles, every new piece lets you unlock the secrets of the circus.
You’ll switch between Woolly Boy and Qiuqiu whenever the situation calls for it. It helps you tackle each challenge from two perspectives. You’ll also meet some quirky characters like fellow circus residents and mysterious creatures.
Woolly Boy and the Circus brings its blend of nice visuals, storytelling and puzzle-solving to mobile. Speaking of its visuals, the hand-drawn, vintage circus-style art is quite quirky and complements the story well.
Navigating the circus world is a classic point-and-click adventure in the game. Unfortunately, there’s no Play Store page up yet for the game. The game dropped on Steam for PC earlier this year. You can check out the Steam page as of now.
