The Mageseeker may have launched only two weeks ago, but Riot Forge is forging ahead with its next League of Legends story: Convergence, a 2D action-platformer which stars one of the standout champions from the Netflix show Arcane, has been confirmed to launch May 23.
A new story trailer for Convergence follows the main character Ekko, a boy genius with the ability to manipulate time, as he travels to a large undercity region of Runeterra called Zaun. The trailer shows off the game's cartoon-like animation style, as well as a few of the time-manipulation abilities that will aid Ekko in the adventure.

Convergence was first revealed at The Game Awards 2019, along with the turn-based RPG Ruined King. The game then went dark until earlier this year, when Riot Forge announced that its 2023 plans included both Convergence and upcoming 3D platformer Song Of Nunu.
This is the latest standalone expansion to the League Of Legends universe, as it follows The Mageseeker, the previously mentioned Ruined King, and endless runner Hextech Mayhem. The game is being developed by Double Stallion Games, whose portfolio includes two other 2D action-brawlers: Speed Brawl and Big Action Mega Fight.
Convergence: A League Of Legends Story launches May 23 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
