This is a cool idea: Copa City is an upcoming tycoon title due out on PS5 in 2025 where you’re in charge of everything that unfolds off the pitch. You’ll need to make decisions relating to security, facilities, and transport to ensure fans can get to and from the game safely, without any obstacle or obstruction. You may want to station some police to stop those shirtless hooligans, for example.
This trailer confirms that the real-life Olympiastadion in Berlin will be included in the game, alongside Bayern Munich, Arsenal, and Flamengo. Other licensed content includes Warsaw’s PGE Narodowy, with more teams and locations to be announced closer to launch. Obviously, licensed content isn’t necessarily required to make a title like this work, but we’re not going to complain about its inclusion.
Our only worry with this game is where the sense of progress and variety will come from. It looks like the tycoon aspect will apply to a single game day, so once the match has concluded, you’ll basically be starting over for the next one. It doesn’t sound like there’ll be quite the same reward loop as other tycoon games, where you’re making money and improving your facilities.
It’s an interesting idea, then, but we’ll need to see how it’s actually structured to better understand the longevity and replay value.

Would give it a try on PS Plus, sounds novel enough
Ironically, this being a football ownership sim, there's a massive difference in how clubs are owned and fans are treated in Germany. This sim will not be representative as fans are heavily involved in club ownership there and they are not subject to being price-gouged for tickets and merch
