CHARTS: Black Myth: Wukong pre-orders shoot to No.2 on Steam
Pre-orders for the upcoming action RPG Black Myth: Wukong were the second biggest seller on Steam last week.
The title shot up five places to take No.2 on the back of previews for the game coming out alongside a final launch trailer. Black Myth: Wukong is set to release on August 20th.
Counter-Strike 2 was once again the biggest seller on Steam for the week, while fellow free-to-play shooter smash hit remained in third place. Valve also has fourth and fifth positions locked up with Steam Deck and Dota 2, respectively, which both held onto their places week-on-week.
The First Descendant from Nexon drops from second to sixth, while Elden Ring rose up one position to No.7. EA's free-to-play battle royale hit Apex Legends returned to the Top Ten in eighth off the back of a new season of content rolling out. Meanwhile, pre-orders for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 shot up from No.54 to No.9 off the back of some very positive previews being published; the grim sci-fi shooter is set to launch on September 9th.
Finally, pre-orders for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 rounded off the Top Ten.
