CHARTS: BattleBit Remastered drops one place to No.3 on Steam
pcgamesinsider.bizIndie shooter BattleBit Remastered fell one place to the No.3 spot week-on-week.
The title has seen a wealth of hype on Steam as well as a great deal of attention, not least because the game was made by just four people.
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive once again takes the No.1 spot, while EA's free-to-play battle royale Apex Legends returns to the Top Ten in third place.
The controversial and long-in-development Six Days in Fallujah made its debut in the charts at the No.6 spot following its June 22nd release. The title was initially announced back in 2009 with Japan's Konami handling publishing duties, but was cancelled due to the controversial nature of the game's subject matter – the Second Battle of Fallujah. The project was revived in 2021 and has launched into Steam Early Access ahead of a console launch in 2024.
The Steam Deck console rose one place to No.5, while PUBG: Battlegrounds fell down three rungs down to sixth place. Both Forza Horizon 5 and Street Fighter 6 return to the Top Ten in seventh and eighth positions respectively, while Dead by Daylight rose up four places to No.9.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 rounds off the Top Ten, having dropped down six places.
