Chainsaw Man is full of odd, violent, and crazy companions and side characters. Most of them come from the Public Safety Divison where Denji, the protagonist works, only some of them are human, and none of them should be looked over in the supernatural slasher franchise. The Chainsaw Man franchise is about Denji, a homeless vulgar teenager making a living by killing devils. After a near-death experience, Denji is saved by his own pet devil, who fuses with him and grants Denji his chainsaw-inspired powers. These powers cause the Public Safety Division to notice him and hire him on the premise that if he doesn't follow orders or lets his new devil side take over, he will be exterminated.

In the manga, Denji is assigned to a special task force within the Public Safety Department, an experimental group of Devil Hunters, some of which are part-devil. Denji, the protagonist, is one of the half-devil members. Not all of the special squad gets along with each other, but they are incredibly successful as a Devil Hunter squad.
One of these members is Power, pictured above. She is not only on Makima's special squad, but is also assigned to be his roommate as they were both previously homeless. She is rude, aggressive, and sometimes violent. She's a fiend, or a devil that has taken over a human's corpse.
