Released in 2000, Majora’s Mask has become well-known among gamers for many reasons. Among the factors contributing to this popularity is the wide range of magical masks Link can wear during his adventures, causing him to play differently. Recently, one gamer made fan art based on one of these iconic masks from the game.

In a post on Reddit, a user known as PenguinThold shared an image of a piece of artwork they had created based on The Legend of Zelda series. This particular fan art stood out because the creator had decided to recreate the Deku Mask from Majora’s Mask. In the game, it is a mask used for Transformation, turning Link into a Deku Scrub, complete with a new set of abilities.
The mask featured in the Reddit image had a black color on top with shades of brown underneath. Among the highlights of the design, PenguinThold included the recognizable aspects of the in-game mask. For instance, it had a pair of orangish eyes and three leaves attached to the back of the object. Impressively, the Reddit user revealed that they had made the entire mask out of paper mache and cardboard.
