Polish games firm CD Projekt has reported a 14 per cent decline in sales revenue for the first half of the 2023 financial year.
The company brought in 325.2 million PLN ($79.5 million) for the period, while its net profit dropped 20 per cent to hit 91.3 million PLN ($22.1 million). That's likely to sales for Cyberpunk 2077 slowing down as time goes on, though that's something that the upcoming Phantom Liberty DLC will remedy.
"We are intensifying promotional activities ahead of the fast-approaching release of Phantom Liberty," CEO Adam Kiciński said.
"One of those activities is the ongoing Phantom Liberty Tour – a series of community events where gamers can personally experience the expansion before it is launched."
He continued: "Positive reactions from gamers and media representatives alike fill us with optimism. We believe that a successful launch of the expansion will again confirm the great potential of the Cyberpunk franchise."
