Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) assumed the mantle of Captain America in the Disney+ series The Falcon and The Winter Solider, replacing the appointed John Walker (Wyatt Russell)--who then became US Agent. Mackie's first solo movie as the new Captain was announced at San Diego Comic-Con last year with the subtitle New World Order. That turned out to be only a working title, as Marvel has now announced a brand-new title for the upcoming film.
Marvel confirmed on its Twitter that Captain America 4 will now be called Brave New World. The movie is keeping its original announced release date of May 3, 2024. Anthony Mackie also posted a small teaser image of Cap's new suit and the actor hanging out with Harrison Ford, who will take on the role of General «Thunderbolt» Ross after William Hurt's passing last year.

The movie is still filming in Atlanta and has many moving parts going on with new cast members being added almost every week. We know that Tim Blake Nelson will finally become The Leader after 16 years after appearing in The Incredible Hulk. There are also reports of WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins as a member of the Serpent Society, and even Liv Tyler once again playing Betty Ross, Bruce Banner's original love interest.
Carl Lumbly returns from the Falcon and the Winter Soldier series, reprising Isiah Bradley while Danny Ramirez plays Joaquin Torres. Julius Onah (The Cloverfield Paradox) will direct Brave New World, which is written by Falcon and the Winter Soldier's Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson.
