Cannon Dancer/Osman was a bit of a hidden gem in arcades because it was from the creator of Strider – but wasn’t published by Capcom. It felt very similar in terms of gameplay, but never got a massive worldwide release.

Today, the first-ever official port of the game is available to play across a variety of consoles. All PlayStation and Xbox One/Series owners can enjoy a slice of martial arts-themed Strider-like action for $39.99 digitally.

The game’s official site has a physical version available as well for Switch, PS4 and PS5. It’s great to see a well-crafted and highly-polished game go from obscurity to having a chance to make an impact thanks to ININ’s release.
