Activision has issued an update for Call of Duty Warzone that nerfs a number of weapons that had come to dominate the meta.
The highlight here is a nerf to the Kar98k after the iconic Call of Duty marksman rifle was added to the game in Season 4 and came to dominate battle royale just as it did Verdansk when Warzone launched.
The Kar98k has seen three adjustments with today’s patch:
Meanwhile, the Superi 46, which had become an instant meta submachine gun with its release as part of Season 4, is also nerfed. There are two adjustments here:

Meanwhile, there’s also a patch for Modern Warfare 3, which makes a number of changes to the shooter across Multiplayer and Zombies. The patch comes as Call of Duty fans look towards Season 5, and a potential Deadpool & Wolverine crossover. Further ahead is the October launch of Black Ops 6.
