Activision Blizzard has been teasing the arrival of Godzilla and King Kong to Call of Duty: Warzone's Caldera, and it seems the wait is almost over as the two giant monsters will join the battle royale tomorrow. King Kong and Godzilla reach Caldera as part of an Operation Monarch limited-time game mode which gives Call of Duty: Warzone fans several days to encounter the Kaiju.
Operation Monarch runs from May 11 until May 25, and the event isn't limited to the new game mode as there are many more activities and rewards to explore beyond theKing Kong and Godzilla threats. Throughout Operation Monarch, Call of Duty: Warzone players will be able to collect Monarch Intel, do challenges, and battle the enormous King Kong and Godzilla alongside other players. Some of the themed rewardsCall of Duty: Warzone players can unlock for completing Operation Monarch challenges include Legendary Emblems made for the two monsters, Epic “Ancestral Skull” Charm, and Epic “Skyline Crasher” Calling Card.

Legendary Entertainment joins Raven Software, Sledgehammer Games, and Toys for Bob to optimize Operation Monarch in order to represent Godzilla and King Kong in Caldera as accurately as possible. The two giants will travel across the landscape and eventually battle each other, but Activision Blizzard has confirmed that Godzilla and King Kong are considered protector Kaiju rather than destroyers, which suggests that more creatures may be coming to Call of Duty: Warzone's Monsterverse in the future. The event will include intel that explains why the two film beasts have made their way toCall of Duty: Warzone on top of what has already been confirmed in Classified Arms.
