Unfortunately, Operation Monarch seems to fall into the latter category, with Call of Duty: Warzone players like NICKMERCS heavily criticizing the event.
The problems Call of Duty: Warzone fans have with Operation Monarch have been discussed quite a bit over the past few days, with the conversation around the event being mostly negative. For starters, players are disappointed that the LTM plays out like a normal battle royale match under Resurgence rules, with the goal of being the last team alive still in place. Others are bothered that Godzilla and Kong cannot actually be defeated despite players having the option to damage them, leading many to ignore the Titans instead.

As for FaZe co-owner NICKMERCS, the streamer and veteran Call of Duty: Warzone player has a much more specific issue with the event. According to NICKMERCS, the biggest issue with Operation Monarch is that Godzilla and Kong do not actually fight each other. While they both roam the map at the same time and attack other players, getting especially aggressive when frenzy mode is engaged, the two behemoths never interact with each other inside an Operation Monarch match. According to NICKMERCS, this is a major disappointment.
OtherCall of Duty: Warzone players have had the same complaint about the Godzilla and Kong AI, wishing that they would battle each other if they ended up close together.
