Netflix announces Castlevania: Nocturne, a spinoff series to the streaming site's popular Castlevania. The animated series adapted Konami's video game series of the same name, telling the story of Trevor Belmont, Sypha Belnades, and Alucard Tepes as they face Count Dracula. While video game adaptations are still fighting a bad reputation in the industry, Netflix's Castlevania managed to achieve both critical and commercial success. All four seasons were received positively and left fans wondering what would be next for Castlevania.
