Call of Duty: Warzone players are reporting some serious issues following the game's newest patch. The Season 1 Reloaded update released on January 17th for Call of Duty: Warzone, but it seems to have done more harm than good.
Call of Duty's Season 1 Reloaded brought new additions to Warzone like two weapons, the Champion's Quest, and a Gulag event. Originally, the update was meant to add the Covert Exfil and the Weapons Case features as well, but these were delayed until further notice. Warzone's development team explained that these will be added at a later date alongside a playlist centered around the new features. While Warzone fans were excited for new content to be added for the first time since Season 1's introduction, the anticipation was quickly spoiled for some fans following the update's release.
Following the game's newest update, many Warzone players are reporting that they are unable to get past the game's menu due to an infinite looping glitch. Once users attempt to load into Warzone from Call of Duty's main menu, their screen becomes a buggy mess as it rapidly switches between loading screens. Players on all platforms are reporting this issue. Most Call of Duty users are no strangers to bugs, but this one is particularly frustrating, especially after the excitement surrounding Season 1 Reloaded's release. It's unclear how long this will remain an issue, but fans are hoping that Call of Duty will release a hotfix in the near future. In efforts to remedy this problem, Call of Duty has temporarily disabled the new Champion's Quest feature at the time of writing. One PC user reported that the looping menu bug could be bypassed by clicking on the Rio 24/7 button in the background and then hitting escape.
Users who manage to load into the game are still at risk from frustrating Warzone bugs. Many users have reported another new glitch that arises after interacting with supply drops, which sees the screens of affected users stutter as black shading repeatedly
