Call of Duty: Warzone’s third season, Classified Arms, has finally arrived and that means gunners should prepare for a wealth of changes to the battle royale. This time around, the game’s Caldera map has undergone several transformations ahead of May’s Operation Monarch event and players will now be able to find one special type of item inside of loot crates. Here’s everything that has come to Warzone’s latest 1.57 update.
First and foremost, those diving into Caldera will spot a new POI, known as Dig Site, between Mines and Runes. It may not be a groundbreaking evolution for the map, but other areas, such as Peak, Lagoon, and Runway, have also been expanded and now bring even more loot to the game. Of course, it wouldn’t be a new season without new weapons. From the start of Season Three, players can now find and unlock the M1916 marksmen rifle and Nikita AVT assault rifle.
Those who pride themselves as lethal snipers may find the most value from this massive update. This is because a majority of the guns in this category will now be able to knock enemies with one headshot, as long as its within their max damage range. Another major weapon buff worth noting is that a number of attachments for the Volk assault rifle no longer penalize the gun’s bullet velocity and damage range.
Additionally, the season now introduces the ability to pick up perks from loot crates. These perks include Battle Hardened, High Alert, Quick Fix, and even the handy Scavenger. Players may only pick up one of these at a time, but they do stack with the perks that are currently applied to your loadout.
You can discover every adjustment made in Season Three from the patch notes below, as released by Raven Software.
