A new update is out now for Horizon Forbidden West, and it includes a number of big fixes that should help make the experience more enjoyable overall. Read on for the full patch notes, which were originally posted by Guerrilla Games on Reddit, but be aware that the list includes some story spoilers.
The Reach for the Stars main quest is now updated to fix a progression-blocker issue, while the main quest, To the Brink, now properly spawns Belna after completing a specific objective. The Singularity main quest is also updated to fix «unexpected character behavior» that could trigger progression blockers.

The May 5 patch also clears out progression issues with Forbidden West's side quests, including one issue that could cause the Stormbird to get stuck in the terrain.
There are also new improvements to help with overall stability and crashes, while the update delivers multiple audio fixes as well as improvements to Aloy's animations. The full patch notes can be seen below.
Guerrilla also released a list of known issues for Horizon Forbidden West, noting that «visual shimmering» remains an issue and one that the studio is seeking to improve. Additionally, Guerrilla said some of the game's outfits may be appear to be covered by dark shadows in the inventory, and this is something the studio is looking to fix in the future.
A third entry in the Horizon series is reportedly coming up next, but Guerrilla has yet to make an official announcement about this.
