Patrick Warburton looks back on being cast as Buzz Lightyear for the TV show and his funny reaction to landing the gig. Patrick Warburton led the cast of Buzz Lightyear of Star Command in the titular role alongside Nicole Sullivan, Larry Miller, Neil Flynn, Adam Carolla, Steve Hytner, Phil LaMarr, Nikki Cox, Michael Showalter, Joy Behar and Wayne Knight as Zurg. Kicked off by the direct-to-video Toy Story spinoff Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure Begins, the animated series ran for 62 episodes on UPN and ABC and garnered a Daytime Emmy Award win for Outstanding Sound Editing.
