Burning Crusade Timewalking Event Now Live - Normal Nerub-ar & Hero Track Black Temple Caches
Burning Crusade Timewalking is now available through the week of September 17th! Complete 5 Timewalking dungeons for a Normal Cache of Nerubian Treasures and defeat Illidan in Black Temple Timewalking for a Cache of Timewarped Treasures.
Timewalking Dungeon Event
Venture into six of Burning Crusade's dungeons for updated rewards in this week’s Bonus Event.
While the Event is Active:
- Archivist Frithrun in Dornogal has a quest or you can start it within the Dungeon Journal.
Quest Requirement: Complete 5 Timewalking dungeons. - Rewards: Cache of Nerubian Treasures containing one piece of non-tier gear from Normal Nerub-ar Palace
Players gain a 50% bonus to reputations earned from quests and creature kills for all reputations associated with the Burning Crusade Expansion.
Loot from Timewalking Dungeons is currently listed at 554 ilvl in the Dungeon Journal, but we expect actual drops to be similar to current Heroic dungeons roughly ~580 ilvl on the Adventurer upgrade track .
Black Temple Timewalking Raid
If you're looking to maximize your loot options at the start of Season 1, then be sure to take advantage of the Disturbance Detected: Black Temple quest that awards Hero-Track gear by defeating Illidan in Black Temple Timewalking!
To accept this quest, simply head to Shattrath and speak with Vormu (/way 54.6 39.0). Then just defeat Illidan in Black Temple Timewalking and collect the Timewarped Illidari Battleplans that drops from him.
Turn in the quest for your sweet Cache of Timewarped Treasures which should award a ~610 ilvl gear piece on the Hero upgrade track and potentially a rare Burning Crusade mount like Ashes of Al'ar. Base loot from Black Temple Timewalking drops at 597 ilvl on the Champion track,
