The collaboration between BTS and Garena Free Fire, Gen FF, has recently been reaching new heights, culminating in a remake of the music video Idol using only game assets. The music video features all the character skins and costumes designed by the group. Gen FF began a couple of weeks ago on March 23 and is currently scheduled to conclude with a grand finale at some point in April.

The song debuted at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 list and ranked first in sales for the week, totaling over 43,000 downloads and 24 million streams in the United States.
