Just like its protagonist, death has come for Bleach: Eternal Soul. Don’t fret just yet, though! You can still play until April 29th. The official Facebook page from has more details about the closure. But before you pack away your Zanpakutos, here’s the lowdown and some good news to tide you over.
The developers, Efun Games, haven’t revealed the exact reason behind the closure, but they mentioned “adjustments in game development” in their announcement.
While the game launched in 2021 with a promising premise – reliving iconic Bleach moments with your favorite characters – it seems it didn’t resonate with enough players despite the beloved franchise backing it.
If you’re currently playing Bleach: Eternal Soul, don’t worry, you can still enjoy it until April 29th. But heads up: new registrations and downloads close on April 1st, and in-game purchases shut down on the same day. After April 29th, the game will no longer be accessible.
Players can still use any remaining in-game items until the game officially ends, though that might be small compensation if you spent a lot.
As a thank you to players, the developers are offering a weekly compensation gift until the closure date. The gift includes Soul Jade Summon Tokens, Time Tokens, Omni Shards, Gold, and Soul Jade. Until then, keep swinging those Zanpakutos, Soul Reapers!
Hold on, there’s a twist! Bleach: Immortal Soul, a different Bleach game available in some regions, is not shutting down. It’s a separate game with different developers and operations. So, if you’re playing Immortal Soul, you’re good to go!
Keep track of Bleach: Soul Resonance’s official Twitter page for more details and insight! Now, there isn’t just bad news, let me try to make it up by telling you about A Beast Of An Update As Tasha Joins Eversoul.
