Bill & Ted’s Most Triumphant Trilogy 4K Blu-ray Announced by Shout Factory
Shout Factory has revealed the Bill & Ted’s Most Triumphant Trilogy 4K Blu-ray set. It brings together all three films in the time-traveling comedy franchise.
This year marks the 35th anniversary of Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure. The titular slacker duo, played by Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves, were tasked with creating a bright future by traveling into the past. The duo are supposedly destined to become mega rock stars who will one day heal the world. Unfortunately, they are flunking school, and Ted could be off to military school. So, a face from their future (George Carlin) helps them travel through time in order to pass on their history project.
The movie would spawn a sequel with 1991’s Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey. That saw the pair killed off by robot versions of themselves, but they hatch a plan to escape death literally and once again rock the world.
Keanu Reeves would then go on to become a megastar, and a third entry got kicked around for many years. Finally, 31 years after the original, Bill & Ted Face the Music arrived. The now middle-aged Bill & Ted have still yet to achieve their stardom, and it appears time is running out to do so.

Bill & Ted’s Most Triumphant TYrilogy 4K Blu-ray set will arrive on August 6, 2024. The same date applies to the individual 4K releases.
