Citizens are born but then, they also die. Rulers are made but they can also change and be betrayed. That’s how it is in the world of The Elder Scrolls: Castles, which is now out on mobile. If you’re a fan of management and sim games, then you should know more about this one.
The Elder Scrolls: Castles is Bethesda Game Studios’ third mobile title in the series. The previous two are The Elder Scrolls: Legends and The Elder Scrolls: Blades. Apart from these three, the series has a bunch of titles for PC and consoles, like Arena, Skyrim, Morrowind and Oblivion.
A management sim game, you rule and take care of your dynasty. The kingdom is set in Tamriel which is located on the planet of Nirn. Building great castles is one of the major tasks in the game as you need to provide proper housing for your citizens.
The castles are quite pretty. As you don the role of a ruler, you have to ensure that your kingdom doesn’t run out of resources and everyone has a place to live. You get to deck out your castle with additional rooms, decorations and furniture of your choice for your castle.
The game also has a bit of turn-based combat that lets you train your heroes and battle it out with classic Elder Scrolls enemies. You also use strategy to decide who does what among your crew to keep the resources flowing.
One day in the real world equals a whole year in the game. So, the simulation period in The Elder Scrolls: Castles mobile is not very time-consuming. And the rewards in the game are something that makes the game more fun.
Known for titles like Fallout Shelter and the Doom series, Bethesda has developed and published the game. If it sounds fun, check out the game on the Google Play Store.
