A creative Baldur's Gate 3 player has taken it upon themselves to see what Astarion would look like if he were female. Astarion remains one of the most popular companions in Baldur's Gate 3 due to his charming wit and his own personal quest, which spans the entire length of the game.
The companions in Baldur's Gate 3 are arguably the most important part of the experience. They comment on everything that players do, forming their own opinions and taking action accordingly. If a companion feels strongly enough about the player's actions, they'll simply leave the party for good. This creates real consequences throughout the game, and makes every playthrough feel dramatically different, depending on the actions taken by gamers.
The female version of Astarion was posted by Redditor blue-flu, who shared the creation with the game's community. While the user never explicitly mentions it in the thread, most seemed to think it had been done via FaceApp, rather than being a Baldur's Gate 3 mod that players can actually use in-game.
