Twitch drops are coming to Baldur's Gate 3 starting this week. The announcement was made via a blog post on the game's official website, which gives players a better look at what kind of loot they can expect.
From August 3-17, players can earn exclusive loot drops by watching a total of two hours of gameplay on Twitch. Those who do so will earn the Camp Clothing Set, which features cosmetic items for the player and their party members, with all items sporting Twitch's iconic purple aesthetic.
The Camp Clothing Set includes the following items:
It's worth noting that the required two hours of stream-viewing does not need to be completed in a single sitting, nor does it require players to watch a specific streamer. As long as players link their Twitch account to their Larian account and spend a cumulative two hours watching any channels streaming Baldur's Gate 3, they'll earn the Camp Clothing Set.
Because this drop is not tied to a specific selection of streamers, anyone can join in on the fun. Streamers wanting to take part need only link their Twitch account to their Larian account, opt in to Twitch drops in the settings menu, and start streaming Baldur's Gate 3 gameplay.
The Baldur's Gate 3 Camp Clothing Set Twitch drop becomes available on Thursday, August 3 at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET, and will be available to claim until Thursday, August 17 at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET.
Baldur's Gate 3 releases for PC on August 3, with a PS5 launch following on September 6. An Xbox version is in the works, but technical issues on Series S have prevented its release thus far.
