Larian Studios has released a new hotfix forBaldur’s Gate 3, addressing various issues and gameplay blockers following its massive Patch 7 (which went live earlier this month on consoles). Problems arising from mods have also received fixes, including save files consoles with mod issues no longer asking if you want to redownload or uninstall a mod after already doing so.
Other improvements include faster loading times for those with numerous mods installed, Legendary Actions carrying over into regular playthroughs if loading a former Honour Mode save, and the download bar not appearing in the Mod Verification Window. Crashes that occur when loading into playthroughs (instead of saves within the same) or when the DualSense’s lightbar goes “full disco” have also been addressed.
Check out the full hotfix notes below. Baldur’s Gate 3 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Despite other projects in the works, the critically acclaimed RPG will still receive patches and features, including Photo Mode and cross-play. There’s currently no ETA, though, so stay tuned for updates.
Hotfix #28 Now Live!
Another small hotfix for all platforms is coming your way today! Hotfix #28 addresses a few crashes and blockers, integrates a handful of gameplay bug fixes, and resolves some issues with the Mod Manager.
This hotfix also fixes an issue with multiplayer, where some players were getting caught in an enable–disable loop in the Mod Verification Window when trying to disable a mod that the host doesn’t have.
