Baldur's Gate 3 Devs Reveal A New Project Could Be Underway
mmorpg.comIn a series of cryptic and non-specific X posts, Swen Vincke has alluded to a new project coming from Larian Studios with no definitive information as to what or when.
The first post that was made simply stated,
“Been a great morning! After 4 months of rewriting and rewriting and abandoning ideas and then revisiting them, finally figured out what act 1 on this thing I've been working on needs to be. Quote me when it's revealed to see how much of today's draft survives. I suspect a lot.”
Several follow up posts were made describing the process of coming up with a new project and how frustrating it can be as ideas are thrown around over several years. Though Vincke states that none of the drafts are left behind, as they said,
“Creative work is the exploration of a vast search space and it can take time to find the right path.”
Though no content or ideas have been released by Larian Studios as of yet, there is plenty of Baldur’s Gate 3 content to still explore and playthrough while fans wait for word on the next project to hit the masses.
