The Bachelorette host Kaitlyn Bristowe opened up about her mental health on Instagram. Kaitlyn has been candid before about her struggles with depression. She opened up about fighting depression in her 20s and dealing with a Valium addiction following a rough breakup. Although she was able to overcome her mental health struggles at the time, she revealed that filming The Bachelorette almost sent her spiraling back down. Kaitlyn was the season 11 lead before becoming a co-host alongside Tayshia Adams. Thankfully, she was able to prevent it from going too far. She even advised others not to compete on the ABC show and didn't watch her season because she felt sympathy for all the contestants.
Demi Burnett also opened up about her mental health on social media. Demi competed on Colton Underwood's season of The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise. She revealed her autism diagnosis on Instagram and asked her followers to be accepting, especially because there's a stigma around autism. In her caption, she also promised to share more of her journey and reassured her fans that if they're going through something similar, they're not alone. As for the actual photos, Demi shared a range of photos from a shot of her in long yellow gloves and sunglasses, to a bunch of memes and information about autism.
