Inglourious Basterds introduced the audience to Aldo Raine, the leader of the Basterds whose goal was to kill Adolf Hitler, but what happened to him after the events of the movie? Although his projects are always surrounded by controversy for different reasons, Quentin Tarantino has become one of the most respected and popular filmmakers in the industry, to the point where there’s always a lot of anticipation around his next project. Released in 2009, Inglourious Basterds is set during World War II and follows two stories: that of a group known as the “Basterds”, led by Aldo Raine (Brad Pitt), and Shosanna Dreyfus/Emmanuelle Mimieux’s (Mélanie Laurent), a Jewish cinema owner whose family was killed by SS officer Hans Landa (Christoph Waltz) and is now ready for revenge. Landa serves as the main antagonist of the movie and becomes a threat to both Shosanna’s and Aldo’s plans, but it was the latter who ultimately gave him a lesson.
