Sony equipped every PlayStation 5 console with a pre-downloaded digital copy of Astro’s Playroom. Astro’s Playroom is a sequel to the 2018 Astro Bot Rescue Mission, but more importantly, the game is meant to introduce players to the new features of the DualSense controller.

There are a total of four different main levels in Astro’s Playroom, along with four sub-levels within each section. On top of learning the many different features, Astro’s Playroom is chock-full of memorable collectibles that highlight Sony’s influence throughout gaming history. Aside from the four main areas, there is a room that stores all the collectibles found in the game called the PlayStation Labo, which also contains its fair share of collectibles. In this guide, we’ll highlight how to obtain every puzzle piece and PlayStation artifact in the PlayStation Labo.
After you complete a main section of Astro’s Playroom, the little robot will be automatically transported to the PlayStation Labo room. You’ll see a quick cutscene of the collectibles you’ve collected in the recently completed level and then you’re free to roam around the area. At the opposite end of the room, there will be a giant red button with a pair of Astro bots on either side.
When you jump on the button, a door will open and a giant claw machine will be inside. It costs 100 PlayStation coins to receive a prize from the machine. One of the many collectibles in the game are puzzle pieces that map out a mural of each of the four main PlayStation consoles before the PlayStation 5.
