While the brunt of gaming events this June seems to be over, there’s more on the horizon. Several companies or reports have indicated more will be shown off in July, while several rumors indicate that a Nintendo Direct and/or Sony's State of Play could be happening next week to end the month.
It would be a great way to end June, but of course, the question is whether these are legit or not. In terms of the Nintendo Direct, several known insiders have reiterated it. One random online user, notably though, predicted the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Direct hours before it was announced, including its length. They also reference another Direct for this coming week, June 27-July 1.

Many Sony fans may also be curious about the possible State of Play, and for those who are, they should keep an eye on June 27 or June 28, with the latter being more likely.
The idea of a State of Play has been floating around for a couple of weeks now, perpetuated by the idea that God of War: Ragnarok’s release date would be announced at the end of this month. There were a few other rumblings that got disproved, like the potential Gran Turismo announcement not happening at a State of Play, but Bloomberg reported the release date would come at the end of the month. To associate that with a God of War-focused State of Play fits perfectly into Sony's general approach to marketing.
Furthermore, the leaker who was right about Hollow Knight: Silksong coming to Game Pass also made a cryptic post, associating God of War: Ragnarok with June 30.
