PS5's jolly 3D platformer Astro Bot has today received another small update. Bringing the game to version 1.004, the patch is only 382.5 MB in size, and it's available to download and install now.
It's the second patch within a few days or so, with patch 1.003 arriving last week. Much like the last update, this latest one comes with no sign of patch notes or any official word from developer Team Asobi, so we're left unclear on precisely what it addresses.
We can only assume the update squashes a few lingering bugs; we saw a handful of people mentioning crashes and visual errors, though these don't seem massively widespread. The issue related to save data appears to have been fixed in the last patch, going by anecdotal information we've seen online.

Removed — unconstructive
I am 15 hours in and near the end. I have 100% completed every level so far and truly love the game. I have not encountered anything unpolished, which itself is a fantastic achievement. These patches might be clearing up rare minor issues, but I also strongly suspect Team Asobi is slipping in some surprises as they did regularly with Astro's Playroom.
