Whether players are looking to get the Platinum Trophy in or just looking for extra things to do, finding and catching the Golden Butterfly is a fun way to stretch out your gameplay and unlock the Net Profit Trophy. Since the Golden Butterfly is hidden around the Apes on the Loose level, finding it will be your first objective.
Unfortunately, after you've tracked down the Golden Butterfly, catching it with your net isn't as simple as it sounds. As you might expect, the Golden Butterfly is quick and seemingly intentionally trying to elude you. Therefore, you must chase it down once you reveal it from its hiding place.
Unfortunately, the Golden Butterfly isn't just flying around in a specific area of the level, it is hidden. This means you won't be able to see it while running around unless you just so happen to scare it from its hiding spot by accident. To find the Golden Butterfly, you'll first need to start the Apes on the Loose level in Gorilla Nebula and obtain your net. After that, catch the first Ape Bot and then head up the wall.
The Gorilla Nebula is an easy introduction to Astro Bot and by bumping into asteroids in the hub of the world, you can unlock the three hidden levels.
At the top, go to the other side of the large statue structure directly in front of you. On the back side of it, you'll see a smaller structure with an enemy sitting on the bottom step. After dealing with the enemy, you should notice there is a small bush on either side of the structure. Whack the bush on the right side and the large Golden Butterfly will emerge from it.
If you have trouble catching up with the Golden Butterfly, don't forget to try riding the rails around the statue structure in the middle. This will give you a little bit of a speed boost, bringing you closer to catching it.
