Pokemon is one of the biggest gaming franchises in the world. The classic Nintendo RPG series about catching pocket monsters has seen several generational changes over the years, with many mainline titles, and a number of spin-offs, that continue to top sales charts with every release, with Pokemon Legends: Arceus already being a massive sales success following its release in January 2022.

Every region in Pokemon deepens the world’s mythology, as fans have gravitated to every new corner of the world that is added to the game's universe. More noticeable are the various Pokemon that inhabit the different regions and which are specific to places such as Sinnoh, Johto, or Kanto. These regions themselves have also been noted for being based on real world countries and locations such Japan, Paris, and even the Galapagos Islands.

While the games have seen a variety of locations across the world be adapted for the series universe, one country that Pokemon hasn’t explored yet is a region based on India. However, on Reddit’s r/Pokemon, user a526135 showcased what that specific region would look like and how the various Pokemon in the region would be depicted in the proposed Pokemon Cloud and Soil.

According to their commissioned artwork, this hypothetical region would feature predominantly Poison, Dark, and Fairy type Pokemon, like Ekans, Poochyena, or Litleo for example. Many other types, such as Dragon and Fighting Pokemon, would also be featured, and a few specific Pokemon are depicted with different respective evolutions, such as Eevee’s evolution into a steel type Pokemon like Titaneon.
