Only two of the Arrowverse shows have been renewed so far, and that reveals a problem for what was once one of pop culture's most famous superhero universes. Now that the Legends of Tomorrow season 7 finale and Batwoman season 3 finale are behind audiences, it's up for Superman & Lois and The Flash to conclude what will be the Arrowverse's tenth year — it may not seem like so much time has passed, but Arrow’s pilot aired in 2012. What could have been a year of celebration, however, is shaping up to be a year of worry for the Arrowverse.
As of now, Legends of Tomorrow season 8 and Batwoman season 4 have yet to be announced by The CW — meaning both shows are already in the so-called bubble. Of the Arrowverse shows, only Superman & Lois and The Flash already know that they will return for seasons 3 and 9 respectively. In addition to concerning fans of Legends and Batwoman, the current state of renewal of the Arrowverse shows also places a huge question mark on the future of that universe.

The fact that Superman & Lois and The Flash are the only Arrowverse shows renewed so far shows just how much importance these shows have lost within the CW. Once the flagship of the network, the Arrowverse is now far from having the same impact on audiences that it once had.
